Protecting What Makes Port Severn Beautiful

The Trent–Severn Waterway is more than a passage between lakes — it’s the heart of Port Severn’s identity.
Its clear waters, rugged shorelines, and thriving wildlife are what make this community special. But as more cottages, marinas, and businesses grow along the water, sustainable waste management has never been more important.

At Georgian Waste Services, we believe protecting the environment starts with responsible waste handling — and for over 50 years, we’ve worked to make waste disposal safe, simple, and sustainable for Port Severn’s residents and waterfront businesses.

Our Commitment to Sustainable Waste Management

Every piece of waste we collect has an impact — and our goal is to make that impact a positive one.

♻️ Sorting and Recycling First

Before any waste reaches a landfill, our team carefully sorts through materials to recover cardboard, paper, scrap metal, and other recyclables.
By prioritizing recycling and reprocessing, we help reduce landfill volume and promote a more circular economy within the Simcoe County region.

🌲 Eco-Conscious Haulage and Disposal

We continually evaluate our hauling routes and operations to minimize emissions and unnecessary travel.
Our commitment to sustainability includes using the right trucks and equipment for each job, reducing fuel waste, and following all Ontario environmental compliance standards.

💧 Protecting the Trent–Severn Waterway

Improper disposal of construction or household waste can quickly harm nearby waterways.
That’s why Georgian Waste takes extra steps to safely handle materials that could pose environmental risks, ensuring nothing ends up where it doesn’t belong — especially near Georgian Bay and the Trent–Severn.
